RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

The purpose of this position is to perform construction project accounting and other support duties, under supervision of the Regional Accounting & Admin Manager. Duties which are expected to be performed include, but are not limited to:

  • Prequalification and contract compliance.

  • Bonding and bond reporting

  • Job setup and maintenance

  • Change order entry and documentation

  • Construction AIA and non-AIA Billings along with all supporting documentation

  • Collection of supplier lien waivers

  • Setting up and managing customer accounts

  • Cash deposits and applications

  • Collections

  • Other duties as assigned by the Regional Accounting & Admin Manager

  • Assist with other duties based on individual strengths and the needs of the organization related to production, IT, or accounts payable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically 1-4 years experience in Construction Accounts Receivable / Construction Accounting.

  • Detail oriented

  • Prior experience with Spectrum by Viewpoint is highly valued.

  • Accounting degree preferred.

  • Experience performing accounting duties for multiple business units is preferred.

  • Ability to work in hybrid role of data entry and further in-depth duties as needed.

  • Software savvy including Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office products including Excel spreadsheets.

  • This position should have experience working in a fast-paced office setting in which coordinating multiple tasks and functions, often at the same time, is common practice.

  • Willing to learn and fulfill multiple roles.

  • Enjoys working with others and is a problem solver within a team environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements for this position are the same of any other typical office setting.
